Cyndi Leinassar has been elected President of the Salem Police Foundation board. She is the Community Relations Liaison for Salem Health, overseeing community engagement and partnerships.
Leinassar has served on several boards including; Marion County Health Advisory Board, Children and Families Commission, Oregon Drug-Free Workplace taskforce, Governor’s Underage Drinking Reduction Taskforce, and has been on the Salem Police Foundation board of directors since 2014.
The Salem Police Foundation raises funds to support the Salem Police Department and has provided support for its K9 program, training equipment, a state-of-the-art fingerprint fuming chamber, trauma kits, domestic violence cameras, crime scene body shield and most recently contributed to the purchase of a Mobile Command Center. www.SalemPoliceFoundation.org.
