Supporting the K-9 Unit

Our K-9 Officers are a very important part of our police force.  K-9s and their human handlers help save lives.  The Foundation works hard to raise funds in case the Department has an issue arise in the K-9 Unit that is not in the city budget.  In recent years the Foundation has raised funds and completed these projects:

• K-9 Safety Equipment for three new dogs
• K-9 Retirement Fund for ongoing medical care
• Adding new K-9s to the force
• Revamping and additional lighting for the K-9 training course
